MONROE - The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conferred degrees on 565 graduates during the university's 2010 winter commencement ceremonies. Graduates, their guests and faculty were addressed by UWSP Alumna Lela Jahn, a Distinguished Alumnus Award winner who founded her own investment advisory firm in San Francisco and recently initiated the Reaching Across Generations mentorship program at UWSP.

Area graduates were Alex R. Solawetz, BS, Forestry Management, Monroe; and Griffin A. Rostan, BFA, Art-Two Dimensional, Monticello.
