JANESVILLE -- Blackhawk Technical College announces its spring 2010 graduates of the General Education Development Certificate (GED). Area graduates include Brian J. Holzer, GED; David E. Leu, HSED; Audra M. Martinez, GED; and Jennifer L. Thies, GED. The certificate is issued by the State Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to a student upon satisfactory completion of five exams. A High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) may also issued by the State through Blackhawk Technical College based on attainment of three additional requirements to the GED. The graduation ceremony was held on May 13, 2010, on the Janesville Central Campus.
