ROLLA, Mo. - Curt Marzolf of Monroe was posthumously awarded a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology during the university's commencement ceremonies on Dec. 19, 2015.
Marzolf died Dec. 12, 2015. His brother accepted his diploma during the ceremony.
Marzolf was also listed on the honor roll during the fall 2015 semester. To be included on the honor roll, students must carry a minimum of 12 hours and have GPAs of 3.2 or higher out of a possible 4.0.
