MONROE — Alphorn Ford showed its latest commitment to the Monroe community with a generous donation to the Green County Food Pantry. On Sept. 23, Kevin Hoyt, General Manager of Alphorn Ford, surprised the pantry with a check for $10,500, along with $400 worth of groceries to help stock the shelves ahead of the busy fall season.
The donation underscores Alphorn Ford’s dedication to fighting food insecurity and supporting local families. The Green County Food Pantry, which serves hundreds of households each month, will use the funds and groceries to provide essential food supplies to those in need.
“This is not just on behalf of Alphorn Ford, but also on behalf of everyone who bought a vehicle at our dealership this year. A portion of that sale went towards this donation.

Supporting our neighbors is at the heart of who we are at Alphorn Ford,” Hoyt said. “The Green County Food Pantry does incredible work for our community, and we are honored to play a part in their mission. We hope this gift helps ease the burden for local families.”
The Green County Food Pantry representative, Pat, sincerely expressed her gratitude and was overwhelmed by the donation.
Alphorn Ford has a long-standing tradition of community involvement and plans to continue finding ways to support local organizations throughout Green County.
