Deadline for Letters to Santa extended

MONROE — The deadline to send children’s letters to Santa Claus has been extended.

Area children who want to make sure their wishes are known to Old St. Nick are invited to submit a letter to Santa Claus for publication in the Monroe Times’ “Letters to Santa” pages. Letters must be submitted by noon Wednesday, Dec. 3. Letters will be published on Wednesday, Dec. 17 in the Monroe Times.

Letters will be forwarded to Santa and published in the pages of the Times the week before Christmas.

Children through age 12 are eligible to enter. Letters should include the child’s name and age. An address and contact information is required, though the information will not be published. 

Letters can be sent to: Letters to Santa, Monroe Times, 1065 4th Ave. West, Monroe WI 53566; or emailed to editor@themonroetimes.com.

Teachers submitting letters on behalf of their students should include the students’ first and last names, grade level and school.
