DARLINGTON - The Memorial Day Parade will begin at the Darlington Municipal Building at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 26, and will move down Main Street to the bridge where the Rev. Randy Budnar, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, will lead everyone in a prayer to all sailors who have lost their lives in defending our country. A wreath will be laid in the river and the firing squad and taps will salute the dead. The high school band will play "The Navy Hymn." The parade will then move up Main Street to Veteran's Memorial Park for the remainder of the program. After the program the Firing Squad will visit the Lafayette County Manor, Sienna Crest, Holy Rosary Cemetery and Union Grove Cemetery.
