Kaylen Cassidy, 8, daughter of James and Erin Cassidy, takes part in a Monroe Parks and Recreation dance class.

MONROE — Monroe Parks and Recreation will be offering a children’s dance program on Mondays for seven weeks from Nov. 2 to Dec. 14 at the Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St.

Ballet 1 will be held from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. for three and four-year-olds. Ballet 2 will be from 5:50 to 6:20 p.m. for five years and older. These are limited to 12 students.

Extra safety precautions will be taken due to COVID-19. The instructors will wear facemasks during the class. Children are asked to wear masks to class but can remove them during the lessons. Parents are asked to social distance, enter through one door and exit through another to limit contact exposure. Children do not need special clothing, just something comfortable.

To register, stop at the Parks and Recreation Office, lower level of City Hall, or go to monroewi.activityreg.com. For questions or more information call 608-329-2460.
