BRODHEAD - A car/motorcycle cruise benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be held on Oct. 10, with a rain date of Oct. 17. There is a leisurely cruise planned with a stop along the way for lunch. Those who attend should meet at Cardinal Lanes and leave at about 10:30 a.m., with the cruise ending at about 2 p.m.
Participating in or pledging participants for the event will raise funds which will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. These funds will help St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude treats more than 260 patients each day.
