MONROE — Classic rock music is taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Monroe High School Performing Arts Center.
Creedence Revived will play Creedence Clearwater Revival hits such as “Down on the Corner,” “Looking Out My Back Door,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and more. With accurate vocal and instrumental renditions, along with costuming, Creedence Revived pays tribute to this legendary band by keeping the original authenticity, yet adding a bit of flare to appeal to all generations.
Creedence Revived is made up of four of Chicago’s and LA’s talented and eclectic musicians. Award-winning lead vocalist and guitarist, Rich Perez, is nicknamed “the chameleon” in the industry for his ability to transform his voice into the styling of most any artist. In 2010, he performed for 3-time-grammy-award-winner Pink, who raved about his vocal ability, claiming that “Rich Perez is an insanely great singer.” When asked about playing with Creedence Revived, Perez commented, “We pay tribute. We play the music as if we wrote it. We perform as if we were the original band. CCR is legendary.” Perez has performed in front of crowds as big as 30,000 people and has shared the stage with artists such as George Clinton, Steve Augeri, The Gin Blossoms, Joe Nichols and Alex Lingerwood of Santana.
J.D. King is a versatile and seasoned musician, as well as a world-renowned blues guitarist who attracts blues fans from around the world. He has been performing live since the age of 13. His passion for music has allowed him to share the stage with renowned artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Michael Montgomery, Jo Dee Messina, Joe Diffie, Mike Reilly of the Gregg Allman Band and Steel Magnolia.
Graham Czach is an accomplished musician, composer, upright/electric bassist, vocalist and guitarist who has appeared on many top charting albums. Throughout his career, Graham has had opportunities to perform with the best, including Grammy award-winners Paul Wertico and Howard Levy.
