Junior "Red" and Betty (DeVoe) Cowell will observe their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1.
They were married Dec. 1, 1945 in Brodhead. Red and Betty farmed for 20 years in the Albany/Monroe area before moving to Monroe in 1965 where they currently reside.
