MONROE - The Democratic Party of Green County will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Swiss Alps Restaurant, 804 4th Ave. W.
Guest speaker Matt Dannenberg from the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters will discuss its priorities in protecting Wisconsin's public health and natural resources.
The party is also hosting an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at its new headquarters, 1516 11th St.
Meet area candidates and enjoy an indoor picnic of sloppy joes, chips and dessert.
Non-perishable food items will also be collected at the office for local food pantries as part of the Green County Democrats Care Program.
