Coplien family picked to be grand marshals Main Street’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

MONROE — Main Street Monroe announced the family as this year’s grand marshals on Wednesday, February 25. The Chris and Val Coplien family, which includes children Scarlett (5), Declan (8) and Finn (10).

The Coplien family has turned their personal experience into community action. They’re behind Declan’s Project — a community-focused initiative, with a year-round toy drive and charitable efforts for local children, and those at UW Children’s Hospital. Over the past few years, the Coplien’s have focused on bringing joy to kids during the holidays and supporting community needs, with it being another reason why we love Monroe.

The parade will be at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Anyone interested in participating in the parade — it’s free — should send contact Main Street Monroe at 608-328-4023.
