MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ is having their annual cookie and candy sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the church, 1724 14th St., Monroe. There is always a wonderful selection of cookies, candies, gift baskets, braetzlis, specialty breads, coffee mixes and much more. Cookies will sell for $6 a pound with a large variety available.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity and the remainder will go into the church's building budget. The church is accessible for the handicapped. The community is invited to attend.
