MONROE — The Green County Conservation League is offering a scholarship to fund local youth to attend a co-ed youth camp run by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. 

The camp will be sometime from June to August, from ages 7 to 16, depending on the camper. The chosen scholarship winner will have the option to choose from visiting Rock Island, horseback riding, river floating and more.

The Green County Conservation league will choose the winner. Entries must include a short essay on why they want to go to camp and why they should be chosen. The deadline to submit an application is March 30. Email name, age, parents name and telephone number along with the essay to: Jim Bauman, whitehandle@gmail.com. Winners will be notified by April 15.
