MONROE — Grab your lawn chairs and head downtown for the next big show on Friday, July 30.

From recent power pop hits to classic favorites, you’ll be singing along and dancing in the street when the band Random Maxx takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Get ready to Hand Clap with Fitz and the Tantrums, Raise Your Glass with P!nk, and Roll With the Changes with REO Speedwagon. There’s something for everyone on this playlist. Random Maxx will be traveling here from Milwaukee, where they have frequented the stages at Summerfest and the Wisconsin State Fair.

Everyone is encouraged to wear their red, white and blue for an evening with a patriotic flair. Intermission will feature a presentation of colors by the Green County Sherriff Department Honor Guard. All veterans and first responders in the audience will be asked to stand and be recognized for their service.

Food stands at the show will include pizza by the slice with the Boy Scouts, and treats from Rainbow Confections. It’s also easy to grab some food to go from one of the Main Street Monroe restaurants. The Main Street Monroe Beer Garden will also be open, with your beverage purchases helping to support programs and events on the downtown Square.
