BRODHEAD - Better Brodhead Coalition will hold its fifth annual Community Supper at 6 p.m. March 19 at Brodhead High School's auditoria, 2501 W. 5th Ave. A summary of successes from the coalition's past year and future community events and activities will be presented at 6:20 p.m. The Youth to Youth student presentation will begin at 6:40 p.m., with a question and answer period at 7:10 p.m.
The coalition is a group of people who care about the community and work to keep it safe for its youth by working to reduce youth substance use, bullying and dating violence.
The Y2Y group, comprised of 65 Brodhead High School students, will present what they have done this year in the school to increase self-esteem, promote drug abuse awareness, prevent bullying and increase mental health awareness, promoting positivity in the community.
Dinner is provided free of charge, is co-sponsored by the Brodhead School District and is open to the public.
