Community Pride to host car show July 11

BLANCHARDVILLE - Blanchardville Community Pride is sponsoring its 24th Cruis'n Wisconsin car, motorcycle and truck show, Sunday, July 11, in McKefllar Park.

All stock to six-years-old and modified to present vehicles are welcome. There are 42 classes. This is a judged show. Non-food, craft and swap vendors welcome.

Door prizes, 50-50 raffle, T-shirts and beer and food will be available. Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 vehicles. Vehicle registration is $6 before July 8 or $12 at the door. Registration for display only and for-sale vehicles is $6. Registration time is 8 a.m. to noon. General admission is $2; under age 12 no charge.

This year's feature is "Voodoo" Larry Grobe's 1931 Ford Model A coupe "Voodoo Psychsis." Master fabricator Grobe designs and builds vehicles in the traditional style.

Special attractions are pinstriper and letter maker Jim Hetz, and Full Boar Enterprises Performance Manufacturing with its chassis dyno.
