Lovelaces to speak about missions at church potluck

BROWNTOWN - A potluck will be held at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at Peace Church in Browntown.

Dr. Kim and Hoyt Lovelace will speak on their missions in the Ivory Coast and around the world. Bring a dish to pass. Coffee, water and lemonade will be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Relay for Life fundraiser to be held Wednesday

MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ will be holding a Relay for Life fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Papa Murphy's in Monroe. A percentage of the sales goes to Relay for Life, but one must mention it is for St. John's UCC Relay for Life at the time of purchase.



Spaghetti supper set for Sept. 27

MONROE - There will be a Spaghetti Supper from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Monroe Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave., Monroe.

The meal will include spaghetti, green salad, garlic bread, a beverage, pie and other desserts. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-12. Donations will be used for community projects.
