Comet
Comet

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS lights up the sky in southern Wisconsin on Oct. 17. The comet visits Earth only once every 80,000 years and can currently be seen in the evenings at dusk in the western sky. The Oct. 17 sighting matched up with a full moon on the eastern horizon, also known as a “supermoon” due to its closer than usual proximity to its host planet.
