WHITEWATER — The following local students are among the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater scholarship recipients receiving financial awards for the 2019-20 academic year.

Argyle: Kayla Bruehlman, who is studying English, won the following scholarships: General Scholarship, Paul Grant Scholarship, Kristine Grimsrud Memorial Scholarship; Mariah Erickson, who is studying accounting, won the following scholarships: Student Diversity, Engagement and Success Scholarship

Belleville: Lucas Larson, who is studying biology, won the following scholarships: Warhawk Exceptional Academics, Chancellor Scholars, King Chavez Scholarship

Blanchardville: Zackary Eaton, who is studying general management, won the following scholarships: Warhawk Exceptional Academics, Chancellor Scholars

Brodhead: Paige Hoesly, who is studying early childhood education, won the following scholarships: College of Education and Professional Studies International in honor of student teaching in the U.S. and Ecuador, Yvonne Fiskum International Scholarship, Grace Alvord, Burton Heldt; Brooke Malcook, who is studying elementary education, won the following scholarships: Wayne Heidel-Jennifer Semmann Education Scholarship; Cameron Novy, who is studying communication, won the following scholarships: Lowell Corporate and Health Communication; Garret Nyhus, who is studying social studies, won the following scholarship: Donald Graham History
