Drake University

DES MOINES, Iowa — The following students have been named to the President’s List at Drake University.

University of Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa — For the first time in its 168-year history, University of Dubuque held virtual commencement ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments of over 350 graduates on May 16.

Since the campus could not gather in-person because of the pandemic, UD officials held virtual commencements for students in the Class of 2020 on the original date for May Commencement.

New Glarus: Kayla Schween, master of arts in mission and discipleship


Bemidji State University

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Rachael Heittola, Belleville, earned Dean’s List honors from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota, at the conclusion of the Spring 2020 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, BSU students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 GPA during the semester. 


Highland Community College

FREEPORT — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Highland Community College postponed their May commencement and later announced a virtual celebration of graduates.

Highland’s spring class of 2020 had more than 200 graduates.  Local graduates include:

University of Minnesota Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL, Minnesota — The following students have been named to the 2020 spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average. Local students include:

Upper Iowa University

FAYETTE, Iowa — Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce Amy Kriebs, Belleville, graduated in May with a Master of Business Admin degree in General Management Emphasis.


Benedictine College

ATCHISON, Kansas — Benedictine College has recognized students who have distinguished themselves academically during the last semester. Kathleen Leone, Brooklyn, was recently named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester, which ended May 16.

Full time students with 12 hours and a grade point average of 3.5 are named to the Dean’s List.


UW-Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — The following individuals have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the Spring 2020 semester.
