ALBANY - Albany Schools fourth-graders participated in a "mystery box" project lead by Albany Middle School teacher Susan Gorski. This is a project where the school filled a box with 25 clues and sent it off to an area school for their students to guess the clues. Some example of the clues were:

1. We can be found in a region that is:

a. South of a line from LaCrosse to Milwaukee

b. North of a line from Cassville to Kenosha

c. West of a line from Oshkosh to Geonoa City

d. East of a line from Ontario to Kieler

2. These are crops that grow in our region. Match the seed to the crop that it grows:

Corn, soybeans, alfalfa, oats, wheat

3. The county that we live in is very colorful.

It is one thing that we look forward to seeing in the spring.

It surrounds us all summer long, especially in the woods and fields.

In the fall the trees start to lose this color.

In the winter it is the color of our Christmas tree.

4. We celebrate our heritage at Yesteryear days, on Memorial Day weekend. Our ancestors came from these countries: Norway, Ireland, England
