MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department will host Basketball with the Cheesemakers from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, at the Monroe High School Gym. The program, for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, allows participants to shoot hoops with the Monroe boys and girls basketball teams.
The cost is $6, which includes a Campions Champions T-shirt from Monsignor Campion. Registration forms are available at the Parks and Recreation Department.
The Parks and Recreation office is located in the basement of City Hall. The mailing address is 1110 18th Ave., Monroe. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
