MONROE — Since 1928, Monroe High School has annually awarded the Citizenship Award to one male and one female senior class member who meet the award criteria in the following four categories: scholarship, character, leadership and cooperation.
Recently, Monroe High School awarded the Citizenship Award to Cael Losenegger and Chloe Bunker. Cael is the son of Eric Losenegger and Amanda Duff. Chloe is the daughter of Louie and Laurie Bunker.
Cael exemplified the Citizenship Award criteria by having a distinguished grade point average above 4.0. He can be described as trustful, caring, sincere and smart. His academic strength is in accounting.
Chloe exemplified the Citizenship Award criteria by having a strong character, based on her words and actions. Her strengths are strong organizational and leadership skills.
