MONTICELLO - Washington Reformation Church will hold its annual music festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

On July 4, 1876, a celebration that included music and food was held on the new foundation of Washington Church. Over the years, this Washington Church tradition has continued with a reputation for good music and good food, referred to as the Taste of Washington.

Food will be available all day, starting at 11 a.m.

The first band, Greg Wild with Lonnie Wild, will start playing at noon and will be followed by Junction Jammers, Keith Zweifel with Bill Gempler and Mark Gruenenfelder, and the Greg Anderson Band. A quilt raffle also will be held.

To get to Washington Reformation Church, take County C west from Monticello. Go 5 miles and turn left on Church Road.

Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested. The festival will be held rain or shine.
