MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ and St. Clare of Assisi Parish will combine for an ecumenical service of Thanksgiving at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 1760 14th St.
The event is open to the public.
Rev. Larry Bakke of St. Clare of Assisi Parish will serve as presider for the service and Rev. R. Tiffany Bates of St. John's will deliver the sermon.
Music for the event will be provided by the choirs from St. Clare of Assisi and St. John's.
Following the service, a time of hospitality and fellowship will be held.
A voluntary offering of money and nonperishable food items for the Green County Food Pantry will be received during the offertory.
