MONROE - Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 1603 16th Ave., is hosting a special Patriotic Service on July 5 to recognize members who have served in the various branches of the military. The event is open to the public.

The service starts at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served after the service.
