MCCONNELL, Ill. - The ladies of McConnell United Methodist Church will host a Mother's Day Luncheon at noon May 9 at the church, 211 N. Hulbert Road.

Those who attend should bring a dish to pass and their own table service. Drinks will be provided. Following the luncheon, "The Accordion Girls" will perform.
