MONROE - Staver St. Peters United Methodist Church will hold an ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Menu items include: barbecue sandwich, barbecue pork sandwich, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, applesauce, fruit pie, ice cream and assorted toppings, and coffee, lemonade and milk.
The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children age 9 and under. Carryouts will be available.
