MONROE - Matt Figi of the Green County Historical Society will speak on the history of the former Universalist Church at the group's monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the second-floor meeting room of the Monroe Public Library. Figi's Powerpoint presentation is titled "A Church and Its Windows." Figi will discuss the historic significance of the church to the community. The building has housed the GCHS museum since 1966 and is undergoing major renovations that Figi will also discuss. The meeting is open to the public.
