MONROE - The choir of Union Presbyterian Church, 2707 5th St., will present the Christmas cantata, Journey of Promises by Joseph Martin, at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.
Members of the choir include: Susan Anderson, Sarah Bodell, Bobbie Bernet, Hans Bernet, Dennis Cappel, Larry Coffer, Katie Doyle-Baumann, Tina Duemler, Nan Edmunds, Mike Freund, Jonna Heins, Cindi Miller, Daryl Miller, Jeri Miller, Jo Ellen Moser, Paul Nelson, Jane Olson, Kathy Reffue, Brad Richardson, Marilyn Sandin-Ross, Jacob Scherer, Donna Schluesche, George Vernon and Elaine Wuethrich. Soloist are Anderson, Hans Bernet and Olson. Mary Soddy is accompanying the choir, directed by Maynard Heins. Rev. Jesse Larson and Diana Oostdik are narrating.
