MONROE - Winners of the Christmas Poster Contest sponsored by Council 1471 of the Knights of Columbus were announced. There were 146 posters entered from grades 1 through 5. Students from Abraham Lincoln, Northside, Parkside, and St. Victor's schools entered, with separate judging in each grade level. Winning posters from grades 1 through 4 will be forwarded for regional competition; grade 5 is a local contest only. First Place winners and honorable mentions are as follows:
