MONROE — Starting Jan. 5, on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. the Monroe United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St., will be hosting the viewing of the world-renowned series, The Chosen. Everyone is welcome.

The Chosen is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus. Created outside of the Hollywood system, The Chosen allows viewers to see Jesus through the eyes of those who knew him. 

The series was:

●  the #1 highest crowd-funded project of all-time at $10 million from over 19,000 people

●  translated into 53 languages and counting

●  consistently ranked in the top 50 entertainment apps on iOS and Android

●  the fundraising efforts for Season 1 reached more than $10,000,000 and $6,000,000 for season 2. This is reflective of its power to reach people. Seven seasons are planned.

●  The Chosen app now shows almost 318 million views
