The Rev. Thomas and Cindy Chopp of Monroe announce the engagement of their daughter, Marta Ruth Chopp, to Aaron Marshall Krattiger, son of Dan and Deb Krattiger, Monroe.
The bride-to-be, a Monroe High School 2008 graduate, is a student at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn. She plans to graduate in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, with a minor in Health Communication. Marta is currently employed by ShopKo Pharmacy in Mankato as a pharmacy technician.
The groom-to-be, a Monroe High School 2009 graduate, is currently studying at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He plans to graduate in May 2013. Aaron is employed by ShopKo of Mankato, working in a variety of areas in customer service. A June 11 wedding is planned at United Methodist Church, Monroe, with Marta's father, Thomas, as the presiding officiate.
