NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Public Library will welcome local writer Christine Keleny for a special children's author visit. Christine is the author of the Agnes Kelly Mystery Adventures.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 24 in the New Glarus Village Hall Community Room.
Keleny's first book in the series, "Intrigue in Istanbul," won a 2016 Moonbeam Children's Book Award and a 2017 Midwest Book Award. The second installment in the series, "Narrow Escape in Norway," will be released soon, and there will be a sneak peek of the book offered at the presentation. The Agnes Kelly series is a middle-grade novel.
The event is free, and there will be time to talk with the author, ask questions and purchase books.
