MONROE — The Foreign Type Cheesemaker’s Association in Monroe is inviting cheesemakers to participate in the Cheesemaking Demonstration on the north side of the Square on Sept. 15 during Green County Cheese Days.

The demo will begin at 11:45 a.m. with the delivery of milk to the Bussman Demonstration Factory and then continue through the afternoon.

Any cheesemaker with an interest is welcome to help stir the copper vat and speak with the demo audience. Cheese Days participants demonstrate a high interest in this event each year. Cheesemakers should check in with Master Cheese Maker Gary Grossen, when they arrive so Grossen will know they want to be included in the cheese demonstration.

Questions or concerns should be directed to Gail Zeitler, Foreign Type Cheesemaker’s Association, at Gail.Zeitler@ftcma.com.
