MONROE — The Cheese Days Store is stocked with apparel for the entire family and the shelves are filled with collectibles and fun swag. The store is in the lower level of the Green County Courthouse and is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays. In August, hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Call 325-7771 to schedule another time, including evenings or weekends.

The store carries Red Wing Stoneware pie plates and matching aprons with the button logo. A Red Wing custom “pipkin pitcher” is the second in a series of stoneware collectibles decorated with images iconic to the festival. Last year it was a cheese wheel on a “cream can” and this year an Edelweiss flower.
