MONROE — Green County Cheese Days is currently accepting applications for the Commercial Vendor and Maker’s Market (Arts and Crafts) areas at the 2022 festival.
Commercial vendor booths will again be located in the Monroe Public Library Parking lot. Examples include (but are not limited to): independent distributors or direct sales (Avon, Amway, etc.), flea market, resale, factory close-out, cell phone accessories, antiques, cleaning products, kitchen wear, sunglasses, home improvements, non-profits promoting their mission, pre-packaged food items to be consumed later (like fudge, cheese spread, preserves, dip mixes). Due to trademark restrictions, items using the festival name are not allowed.
Maker’s Market Vendors (Arts and Crafts) will be located in the city parking lot at the corner of 11th Street and 15th Avenue. Maker’s Market is for creators, fiber artists, hobbyists, wood crafters, photographers, painters, and others who personally design and make what they sell. Examples include (but are not limited to): apparel, fashion accessories, jewelry, home goods, bath and body, re-purposed or up-cycled vintage or salvage, restored furniture, etc. The following are not allowed: food items for consumption by people or pets, and items using the festival name (due to trademark restrictions).
Set up times, booth pricing, and show hours are consistent for both vendor areas. Set up can either be done on Friday, September 16 after 6 p.m., or on Saturday, September 17 prior to 9 a.m. All booths are priced at $175 for spaces approximately 12-feet-square. Show hours are Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
