MADISON - Charter Communication's Student Scholarship program will again award scholarships to outstanding high school students graduating at the end of the 2011-2012 school year.
Charter may award up to 10 $1,000 scholarships. To be eligible to receive a scholarship, a student must be a graduating high school senior and a resident of Wisconsin, Minnesota or Illinois. Additionally, applicants must:
- Plan to pursue a college education in one of the following areas of focus: marketing, accounting, business administration, business management, communications, computer technology, engineering, or a related field at an accredited college
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average
- Submit the official application form along with two letters of recommendation and a 250-word essay.
Applications for the annual Charter Student Scholarship program are available at local high schools or online at www.chartermainstreetgold
.com, and are due March 30.
