Celtic Band ‘The Kissers’ to perform at MAC

MONROE — Billed as the “hardest-rocking Irish band in Madison, Wisconsin,” award-winning band The Kissers plays March 7th at Monroe Arts Center (MAC).

A Celtic band with rock ‘n roll heart, The Kissers’ lineup includes a crew of veteran rock musicians infusing centuries old Irish music with an energy all their own. Forged during legendary Monday nights at Madison’s O’Cayz Corral, and honed through 1000 nights on the road, their sound blends sharp musicianship, black humor and the lilt and lyricism of the ancient melodies.

Their latest album, “The Foe and the Fallen: Songs from The Greatest War,” dropped in 2024 and went on to win Specialty Album of the Year and Folk Song of the Year at the Madison Area Music Association Awards (the MAMAs).

The MAC concert is an acoustic set blending history, musicianship, and lit with fiery spirit inspired by the Emerald Isle.

Tickets are on sale now for this single performance, 7:30 p.m. March 7 at MAC. Buy at the box office (1315 11th St., Monroe), or call (608) 325-5700, or purchase online: https://monroeartscenter.com/event/the-kissers-2/.
