This year the Monroe High School German Exchange Program is celebrating its 30th anniversary. 

The students pictured are standing in front of a tree that was planted by a previous group in honor of the exchange. 

Students that choose to participate host a German student in the fall of even years and then travel to Neu Anspach, Germany to visit their partners the following spring. This program has had hundreds of students participate and created a number of lasting friendships.
