MADISON - The Wisconsin Department of Tourism is looking for volunteer extras to be part of a new Travel Wisconsin TV commercial that will be filmed Dec. 6 in Monroe. The department is opening up its commercial casting to the state's residents.
Qualifications to take part in filming are:
n Participants must be available to spend Dec. 6 in Monroe.
n They must have a passion about Wisconsin and be ready to participate in activities like polka dancing, laughing, cheering and good old Wisconsin fun.
n Note that access to traditional "Oktoberfest" attire is an added bonus: Lederhosen or other ethnic, traditional apparel is welcome.
n Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All selected participants will receive final confirmation and instructions by Dec. 4.
Extras will be unpaid volunteers and will not receive reimbursement for time or travel. The Wisconsin Department of Tourism will maintain unlimited rights to use footage, photography and other works for advertising and other promotional uses in perpetuity. Participants will be asked to register upon arrival, which will serve as the agreement for promotional rights.
