Cash mob raises $400 for Jacob’s SWAG

MONROE — Woodford State Bank hosted a cash mob event at Jim’s Backyard BBQ on June 27 where 10% of proceeds that day, totaling $400 went to Jacob’s Swag Foundation. Cash mobs have been a great way to promote local businesses, keep local communities thriving, and support local organizations. Woodford State Bank’s next Cash Mob will be Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Suisse Haus from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cash drop will be at 1 p.m.  

Teri Ellefson, who is a co-founder of Jacob’s SWAG Foundation said funds from the event will be used to introduce a new mental health phone app that will be introduced in the fall of 2019. Jacob’s SWAG Foundation is grateful to those who stopped by to support the cash mob event.
