Care Net expands hours

MONROE — The Care Net Family Support Services Office has expanded their hours to include additional hours on Tuesdays and new hours on Fridays. Hours of operation for this family resource center are now Tuesdays, noon to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays through Fridays, noon to 3 p.m.  

The Family Support Services Office is the material support center for the Care Net Pregnancy Center. Material supports for families with young children are available for children ages birth until school age. All services are provided at no cost to the clients. There are no income requirements or restrictions. 

Items such as clothing for preemie infants through 5T for all seasons, newborn layettes, cribs, toddler beds, high chairs, booster seats, strollers, pack-n-plays, bassinettes, car seats, crib bedding, diapers, formula, baby food, toys, books, and much more are offered. Essentially, anything a new mom or parents of toddlers need, they can generally find at the Care Net Family Support Services Office.

In addition to the materials supports, educational classes and materials are available for prenatal care, childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting, relationships, and more. 

The Care Net Family Support Services Office is located in the Hope Community Center at 2902 13th Street in Monroe. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 608-325-5051.
