MONROE - The Monroe Clinic Cardiac Support Group is having a picnic at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the shelter house in Twining Park, Monroe. Attendees are asked to bring a low-fat dish to pass and table service. The support group is open to the public and especially welcomes those who have heart disease and those at risk of developing heart disease, as well as their friends and family.

Regular meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month in the Monroe Room, located near the cafeteria in the hospital building, lobby level. The next regular meeting will be Aug. 19.
