JANESVILLE - A community information day and family picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Blackhawk Technical College for transitioning workers and their families in Rock and Green counties. The program will be held in the Student Commons, Central Campus at 6004 S. County G, Janesville.
A workshop for anyone considering a career change will be held in 1400 A-B in the North Commons. Childcare is available on campus for this event.
Other activities include: an EdVenture ropes course for teens and adults; career counseling; visits with college staff and instructors; program exhibits and campus tours; college admission and course registration.
