BTC offers new project management program

JANESVILLE - Blackhawk Technical College has developed a new certificate program that can be completed in one year. The Project Management Certificate program is designed for individuals with an interest in expanding their knowledge and skills in professional occupations across a variety of industries. This certification will validate that students have learned essential skills and proven methodologies to meet critical organizational needs.

The local certificate offered at Blackhawk Technical College includes a capstone project course that can be tailored to any occupation, field or business. Four courses and 11 credits comprise this local certificate with classes held in the evening and online, making this certificate an attractive option for current employees and transitioning workers alike. Courses include: Introduction to Project Management; Project Leadership; Managing Projects with Microsoft Project; and Project Management capstone.
