Dave and Donna Brown of Monroe observed their 40th wedding anniversary on October 17, 2010. They were married at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Shullsburg.

They have four children, Kim (Doyle) Pokorny of Waupun; Tim; Kathi (Dan) Meier; and Kari (Brad) Grossen) all of Monroe. They have seven granchildren.
