BRODHEAD - The Brodhead United Methodist Church, with support from parish nurse Vicki Evenson; Tom Porter, representing Albany congregations; Kris Wisnefske, parish nurse coordinator at Monroe Clinic; and the Aging and Disability Resource Center in Green County, are hosting an informational men's health event from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 31 at Brodhead United Methodist Church.
The event is open to men of all ages, their family and friends.
The event will focus on three main topics that may be of concern for men and their families, including prostate cancer, living well into retirement and safe driving.
In addition, a Car Fit Event will be held to see how vehicles fit those who attend so they can remain a safe driver. Blood pressure checks and informational kits on power of attorney will also be available.
A light lunch will be served following the educational sessions.
