ORANGEVILLE - The 12th annual Briggs and Reed tractor drive will leave the home of Jim Briggs, 3699 W. Winslow Road, Orangeville, at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Participants will take a tractor ride 20 miles to Orval Reed's farm at 7942 Neeseman Road, South Wayne, where there will be a picnic at noon and guests can check out antiques in the Reed's family barn.
Take a dish to pass; meat, beverages and plates will be furnished. There will be lots of visiting and reminiscing. Afterwards, the tractor will return to Brigg's place.
Guests do not have to drive a tractor to attend the picnic. Those who do not want to take the four-hour ride from Orangeville to South Wayne can meet at the Reed farm at 11:30 a.m.
